10/23-24/19 – Road Trip – Dr. Ibram X. Kendi at Civil Rights Museum

We are planning a road trip to Memphis, TN to the National Civil Rights Museum on Oct. 23-24.  These dates are chosen for a specific reason.  Dr. Ibram X. Kendi will be the featured presenter on Wednesday, October 23 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
For anyone who is interested it is critically important to go online and register asap for Dr. Kendi at the National Civil Rights Museum.  It is FREE, but space is limited.  It sold out weeks in advance in Portland and in Seattle and the charge was $25.

We are the process of booking hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Memphis for those who want to participate, so email sisterscarestl@gmail.com if you will be joining us.  Transportation will be arranged as soon as we know how many people will be coming.
